Records of Advice
When further advice fits within the client's existing circumstances and basis, an ROA is often the right record. Adviser Toolkit drafts ROAs the same way it drafts SOAs: from the client's workspace and the scenario behind the advice.
How it works
- 1
Start from the client
Open the client's workspace and pick the scenario or review that prompted the advice.
- 2
Keep it proportionate
The ROA template is deliberately shorter. It carries the recommendation, the reasons and the money movements, without restating what has not changed.
- 3
Review and approve
As with every document, Vera's draft is a starting point. Nothing is final until you have edited and approved it.
Finished ROAs sit in the client's saved advice library next to their SOAs, so the advice history reads as one story. It remains your judgement, and your licensee's standards, that decide when an ROA is appropriate.
Good to know
ROAs carry the same compliance block and seven-year record keeping as every other output.
